Touched by Faith Ministries presents Families Matter After-School Care. Touched by Faith Ministries was founded in July of 2006, dedicated to serve the community. We believe in developing Christian families, strengthening the community through the love of Jesus Christ. We are excited to now offer an afterschool program developing and assisting the children of our community. We believe in providing an exciting but peaceful and safe environment for our children.

The goal of our After-School program is to provide a diverse learning experience to assist with each individual need while instilling the lessons of the bible as well. Our teachers are devoted to providing tutoring assistance, planned activities, and behavior health assessments.

What your child can expect

Snack Time- TBF Families Matter will provide each child a healthy delicious snack after school for a energy boost. Parents/Guardians are required to notate all allergies inside of the enrollment form.

Homework Time- Students will spend time in study hall between 30-60 mins. During this time period, students will have the opportunity to complete homework assignments, study for quizzes & tests, and read a story from our church library or their school library. With advance notice of test and quizzes, we will create learning activities geared towards your child upcoming test/quiz. We will also have tutoring services available as well.

Outside Time- Our teachers facilitate organized games that emphasize teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development. Whether kids are engaged with an organized game or free play around the playscape, our kids are outside running. Our teachers work together and actively to supervise our students while outside. Unless the weather prohibits, our children will have outside time every day.

Activities- Activities include, but not limited to sports, arts and crafts, creative painting, music, and bible lessons. Our teachers lead engaging activities during designated activity time in our afterschool schedule. Our planned activities are designed to keep students engaged, explore new talents, discover new hobbies, and challenge students to build on known skills.

Stretch Class- Every day we will dedicate 15 minutes of stretching for it is essential in our children everyday lives. Stretching facilitate a level of calmness and helps with anxiety. Children are very active and without stretching, this can lead to possibly injuries or other complications. Stretching will help make their muscles and joints stronger.
